 God so very weird, no I don't know why it's so odd. yes I'm sober. I really wanted to call this "F*ckery" but I wasn't sure if I'm allowed. so I named it after a Ludo song. this is for the Lilly's August vexel/vector contest. ok, people nothing to see here keep moving. Deviousness
Although `DEVlANT joined our community only a year ago, he's made sure to make his mark in as many ways as possible. Critiques
This being said, there is something I'm not completely "right" to me which would otherwise make this a glowing success.
Technically it's very sound and the use of gradients works well... however I'm unsure of the colours used, especially for the background, I don't feel they match the main focus of the piece... the female. This is why I have rated technique as 4/5.
I think it would have worked better with a more pastel background in all honesty, although to be fair maybe a bold background such as this is what is adding to it's more original edge in the portrait genre.
